Idora was on a trolley line and began its life as Terminal Park.  After the Wildcat rollercoaster burned in 1984, the park was unable to recover.  There are quite a few fan sites on the Internet from people that remember the park in its prime.  My only experience with the park is through postcards and a visit in early March 2001 when we took some pictures through the fence.  A few days later, we learned that the ballroom had burned down, and later that summer the church that now owns the land removed the remains of the Wildcat and the Jackrabbit coasters.
