With gratitude to Mr. Roger Williams for his
emailed history of this park, I can now include a few more details: The park opened in 1905 with a merry-go-round and a roller coaster, the latter of which was closed in 1912. The park itself operated until the 1940s, and the large brick roller rink was utilized as a bar into the 1960s. The park also had a shooting gallery and a spring-fed swimming lake. Unfortunately, it appears that most of the park's remnants were buried in the early 1990s as Route 7 was built through Steubenville.
